Google Shutdown My Blog and Suspended My Account

On 2010-04-04 I got an email from Google informing me that Google my account (Gmail, GReader, GCalender etc;) has been suspended and that my blog fatriffs.blogspot.com has been deleted due to content violations. My blog had been flagged as SPAM by the Google Bot. Sure I had a maybe 100+ links to other sites, mainly eMusic.com and Amazon.com but my blog was in no way possible a Spam Blog. The more annoying part is that I had to reactivate my Gmail account and then submit an appeal to get my Blog reinstated.

I read about this band on one of the Skateboarding Web Mags and I spent months looking for their music. I guess I assumed that they were so obscure that they wouldn't be on eMusic but sho' 'nuff they were there right under my nose.
Nihilist cranks out no-holds-barred thrash metal that is in line with the campy styles of Municipal Waste and Austrian Death Machine. Their songs are about leather, beer, bitches and dead shit. What more is there?

I saw The Sword open for Metallica in Jan 2009 at The Fleet Center in Boston and sadly at the time I didn't get it. They were playing loud slow and heavy jams when I was in the mood loud fast and heavy. A year later I finally got it and now wish I could go back to the Fleet Center to take it all in again. "Age of Winters" sounds like the bastard child of "Master of Reality" and "Ride the Lightning" wearing an Orange Goblin t-shirt.
